Admission

The purpose of the College is to admit and train students deemed to be academically qualified and who accept the college’s vision and mission.

Admission to all departments is made yearly. Generally, admissions are made through the filling of application forms accompanied with relevant certificates or documents. For certain programmes students will be required to sit for an entrance exam before qualifying for the pursuance of the course. In other cases applicants may be asked to attend an interview to determine their suitability for the programme. For the specific dates before the beginning of certain programmes students must consult the relevant heads of department. Submitting an application and its supporting documents are the first steps in the selection process. An application should NOT be completed and submitted in ways that will disadvantage or disqualify an applicant. The respective applicants are entreated to read their admission brochures carefully before completing their application forms. For all certificates and results other than those from the West African Examinations Council, the Universities in Ghana and Institutions accredited by the National Accreditation Board should be cleared with the National Accreditation Board and the evaluation reports should be attached to the application forms.

Admission of junior members to TAC shall be subject to their passing a medical examination. Dates of the Semesters are announced in notices and calendars of the College.

The following enclosures should accompany the completed application forms:

  • Certified photocopies of certificate(s) or result slip(s).
